It took many good hours, but The Bandit snowmobile is finished, and tearing up the mountains of Washington. Masking the hood for paint was no easy task, but went off without a hitch. I recently finished my first of two cruiser bicycle seats. After some research and practice lacing and finishing edges I have a good finished product. All the proud new owner needs now is a surfboard caddy and his summer transportation will be complete.
I have been comisioned to create a couple one of a kind ‘cruiser’ bike seats using baseball glove type leather. This is what i have to work with. Time to do some research.

I just finished work on a seat for a ’Smokey and the Bandit’ inspired snowmobile. I took some inspiration from pontiac’s upholstery in the 70′s. I’ll post more pictures when the sled is back from paint.
I used vintage fabric on these 1951 Plymouth seats to retain their classic look.
