Upholstery

I started upholstering six years ago based on a desire to understand how furniture is constructed. Working with upholstery has allowed me to see a variety of ways frames are made as well as how fabric and stuffing are used sculpturally to form the exterior. My intention was to take the knowledge I gained from upholstering and apply it to the construction and design of new, original furniture.
